“I don’t say we all ought to misbehave, but we ought
to look as if we could.” Orson Welles
Eh-hem… If you’re reading this at midnight, then your New Year’s was as uneventful as mine. Then again, maybe you were thinking, as I was, that you’d better get a head start!

Well, it’s 11:08 p.m., so yeah pretty uneventful. That’s not really a problem because it means nothing bad is happening either. LOL
Here’s to a hopeful 2009!

Happy New year, Delilah!!
Last night my daughter and I (hubby was working and son was at friend’s house) went to a house party. It was nice because I really don’t get out from the cave very often! I had a couple of glasses of wine and then came home a little after eleven. My daughter and I watched the countdown and then we both went to bed. I’m still amazed that I stayed up that late. LOL.
Today we’re riding out a huge snow storm!
Hey Delilah, only 4 more months to RT. I can’t wait to see you again!! (((HUGS)))

Happy New Year!
At midnight I was at my mom’s parents’ house playing pinochle with them and my dad while my mom did a puzzle.

Thanks so much for the good wishes.

Sounds lovely. They do say you should start the year as you intend to for it to unfold. Spending time with family is a wonderful way to go!

A little late but HAPPY NEW YEAR. We stayed up with 2 out of 3 kids. The youngest just couldn’t make it to midnight though he gave a valiant try. Once the clock stuck midnight daughter asked if it was okay to go to sleep now.

Kids are sooo funny. They don’t want to miss a thing, but they’re practical at the back of it all.
