Maybe because I played with the Tarot cards last night.
I asked a question regarding a proposal I have out at the moment. I ask this question once a week, and so far, the cards have told me to be patient.
Last night, I drew the Queen of Wands. Since, I’m still learning, I went to the book. The answer was ambiguous. Someone else holds my fate in their hands. So I interpret it to be the editor—and was it coincidence that the card depicts a blonde woman? I think not. This particular editor is both.
I drew another card, the Six of Wands, to see what her answer would be. And it said absolutely yes! So now I have it on great authority and all I have to do is wait. 😉

Were you able to finish the story, Unbroken, that you were working on?

Wesley! I’m in the last chapter now and trying to wrap it up!

Wouldn’t having the cards tell you yes make you even more impatient? It probably would make me that way. I hope you hear soon.
I’ve been thinking about getting my cards out so I start to learn. I actually woke up thinking about them so they must be calling me.

Cards are the best. I have a Goddess deck and I love it.
Let me know I can help you.
I wish there were more stories involving tarot.

I’m feeling just the same way right now.
Good luck!

What a cool idea, Delilah! I’ve never used any kind of divination to get a peek into my publishing future. I had Arwen read my Tarot cards at RT and her predictions were awesome!
Want to know something funny? My book in the Torrid Tarot line, Wonder Witch, was based on the Queen of Wands. 🙂

Brandy! Yeah, it does make me more impatient. But I can’t help myself. Hope you have fun with the cards!
Heather! As I learn more about Tarot, I imagine I won’t be able to resist writing more stories featuring them or using them to develop plots and characters.

MJ! Sounds like you’ve got stuff “out there” too. Good luck!!!
Ashlyn! That Queen of Wands is powerful stuff!
