I’m heading out on the road early today. I have my monthly Diamond State Romance Authors meeting, and sis (Elle James) is coming down from northern Arkansas for it. Can’t miss that!
While I’m away from my desk, I have a question for you to ponder…
Almost everyone can recall a missed photo opportunity because he/she didn’t have a camera. What moment above all others do you wish you could have caught on film?

The one opportunity that I missed occurred about 8 years ago. I traveled to Shreveport on I-49. Just as I got to Shreveport, a La. State Trooper pulled across the interstate and stopped traffic. A few moments later, a truck pulling a 2-story house came trucking up the southbound on-ramp. They then moved across the interstate crossing the median to get to the off ramp of the northbound lane.
I had an opportunity to take a photo of a house in the median of the interstate with bridges in the background. 😀

My nephews and niece as they were growing up. I have tons of the first four of the boys and then not many of the remaining four boys and the one girl. It’s really a shame we don’t have very many of my niece since she is the only girl.

Valerie and Lisa! I know exactly what you mean. And sometimes, I’ve wished I had a recorder for those moments when the funniest things pop out of their mouth!
Dennis! I saw a house being moved once in Texas. It was fascinating!

Kid moments definitely but specifically my middle kid. I wish I had more baby pictures of him.
The past year while T was gone I took a bazillion pictures. I didn’t want him to miss a moment.

My local radio station did a small venue(like 30 people)with a band called Williams Riley Band. It was a meet and great after the concert & I forgot to bring my camera. 🙁 🙁 What a great band and they were funny and very nice.

Brandy! My son, who is older, has more baby/kid pics than my daughter, and she knows it, complains about it. You will have regrets, so its good you took so many pics this past year. Maybe it’s a habit now.
Sue! Ahhh! I’d have hated forgetting my camera too!
