I woke up late! Probably needed the extra sleep because I came back from conference with an ugly cough. However, it means I’ll have to wait to post those pictures from the conference until Thursday (I have a guest blogger tomorrow). 😥
Thanks to everyone who sent me links to reviews/comments about Moonstruck! We still need more buzz, so we’re going to give everyone time to read the story before you review or post the cover and blurb on your blog site. The end date of the contest will be extended until April 30th. You have plenty of time to enter!
If you like this sort of collaboration, please let us know. Sis and I tend to goad each other along to get things done. It could mean more of the stories you like sooner.
In the meantime, let’s talk…
Babe Ruth, James Dean, Elvis Presley…
If you could bring back any deceased superstar for one final performance
in their respective field, whom would you choose?

I never got a chance to see Ray Charles in concert but just like my mother and grandmother, I enjoyed his music. I would love to have him come back one more time and perform Georgia On My Mind or Oh Beautiful at a Major League Basketball or baseball playoff game. When I heard him sing this for the first time, I cried. 😥

Darnell! That does sound like something truly worthy of an afterlife event!

I would James Dean in a second. I don’t think he fulfilled his true potential. I know his dying young made him forever ideolized as such but… I think it was a big loss. I would love to see him do one more role.

James Dean! My mama would agree with you on that one. 🙂

Mine is a local favorite. I grew up in Dallas, TX and love my Texas Rangers. I would like to hear Mark Holtz (their beloved play by play man) come back for one more series. I miss him still! It would have been awesome if he would have been around last season for the world series run.
I can dream………….. 😉

Would love to hear Conway Twitty say Hello Darlin’ one more time.

John Lennon – he died too young…….

Elvis in his heyday. My mother and daughter would swoon!

Loved Elvis in his heyday, too, but would be over the top to hear Roy Orbison again (that old PBS special is not enough!). Hubby says Pavarotti for him. 8)

Definitely Elvis. I would love to see him swiveling those hips live and in person.

Hmmm….I would have to go with John Wayne. Grew up watching him, over and over. My parents were true fans. My dad actually got to meet him. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

More Elvis fans! The red-headed hellion and the 6-year-old would be right there with you!
My dad LOVES John Wayne too. He collected all his movies on VHS, then bought them all again in DVD. Christmas and birthdays are easy. Anything with The Duke on it!
