Just a quick reminder! The Grab Bag Contest ends tomorrow! Click on the link for details!
This past week was pretty much a bust writing-wise. I did finish writing my short for Beastly Babes (which is being renamed, darn it!), and I powered through reading Cowboy entries. Most of the week was eaten up with family things and yesterday’s two trips to Little Rock—one for the DSRA meeting, and the other to place a rescue dog with a loving family. So, worth the lost hours of writing.
This next week, I have to get serious about wrapping up Beastly Babes and making decent inroads into my new cowboy story. Thanks to everyone who bought A Four-Gone Conclusion. Remember, you can help an author out by writing reviews wherever you buy and “tagging” the story on Amazon.
Also, I do have another story releasing this week. If you like vampires and/or lesbian fiction, you won’t want to miss Bitten in the Big Easy!
And because I need to get my week planned out, here’s something to keep you busy…
If you were completely blind, but could somehow see for just one hour each month, how would you most often spend that time?
Comment
Easy. Go on a trail ride on my horse. I would miss riding so much that I would easily pick to view life from the back of my horse. Things always look better from that point of view.

My first thought was staring at a good looking, half naked man, but then I read Erica’s answer and thought I do love nature, so hiking through the mountains with a sexy half naked man 🙂

I would spend it with my grandbabies and each month I would have them pic a beautiful place to be during our time together.
🙂
Comment
I think every month I would do something different.
Try to get in as much as I could. Topping the list would be loved ones smiles, sunsets, waves pounding the shore, and children or pets playing. . .
Comment
Oh i would spend it looking at the pretty faces of my girls…..and then read about a sexy half naked man! 🙂

That’s really easy for me, every month for the one hour, I would spend it with my family. I can’t think of anything better than spending that one precious hour each month with my two daughters and the rest of our family. My family is way to important to me and I would rather spend each hour of every month seeing them than doing anything else. 🙂

I would look at the beautiful faces of my family and do things with them that I could not do if I was blind.
Comment
Pretty easy for me too, I would spend every minute I could watching and making my children smile.
Comment
I would divide my time between my boys , my dog, my sisters and outdoors. I also have to get in some time with books.
Comment
i would want to do different things. i think the first thing i would do, is go to a book store. to see all of the different covers…im a cover whore. 🙂 i pick out half my books because of covers. 😛
Comment
I have to agree with the first two… nature and the sexy bodies, so why now a wide open field full of pretty boys to admire along with the beautiful meadow, flowers, sunset, sunrise, whatever 🙂
Comment
I think I would love to see a sunset or sunrise and enjoy all the colours that I wouldn’t normally see.
If a nice hunky man were to be in front of the said rise or fall of the sun I’m sure I wouldn’t object 😉
Comment
Picking the hairs out of my chin!
Comment
I think I would have to go with family and pets, with the last 5 minutes or so of staring at really hot half naked (or more) guys! LOL
Comment
I would think trying to pick the name of a book would be the hard.
As for the question…I would look at the million pieces of artwork my kids made then choose my wardrobe for the next month. Who needs eyes for sex?
Comment
i would spending looking at the people i love.

I would spend it making love with my husband. I love looking and touching his body.
Comment
I’d spend it at the ocean where I feel most at home with the man I love.

I would spend it with my hubby and our son. I love to look at both of them. 🙂

Probably at the kitchen table laughing and having fun with my family.

I would love for that hour to be the hour between day and night. That way I can enjoy both, with my children. We can fly kites during the day and catch fire flies at night in the summer. See the change in the leaves during the day and roast marshmellows at night in the fall. Make snow angels during the day, and see christmas lights at night in the winter. Then in the spring we could lay on the grass and call out shapes in the clouds until night came to watch the stars. All this while watching the expressions on their faces, so that while I am sightless I will havethe images in my mind to get me through the month until next time. Much like when you read a book it will be like a movie in my mind using memory and imagination to make the picture in my mind.

I would take my family to the mountains and hope that I could see them at either sunset or sunrise. I have hundreds of pictures of the sun setting. And, of course, thousands of my family!
Comment
Just think of it as a ReCharge week – we all need them once in a while.

I think every month I would do something different. The first would be spending time with my family and my pets. I think I would find a few minutes in that hour to spend reading too.
Comment
Reading and watching T.V. Also looking at my cats just to see their faces and them jumping and playing around.

Now I’m curious to see what Beastly Babes’ new name will be. I can’t say that the original title ever really ‘grabbed’ me, though it’s certainly memorable. Of course, I hate my own submission’s title, but haven’t come up with anything better. Sometimes the titles come easily, sometimes not. 🙂
I’ll have to check out Bitten in the Big Easy. I love New Orleans. 🙂
