A Question…

shatner and nimoy

Just woke up and it’s hard to be creative when all I want to do is crawl back under the covers. I was having this wonderful dream. A much younger William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy were at a convention, and I was one of the lucky fans selected to have dinner with them. I brought my camera with me to get photographic proof James T. Kirk was at my table, but every time I clicked a shot the picture was overexposed. What a nightmare! 🙂

So, that got me thinking. Frustrated fantasies have to be pretty common in Dream World. So do dreams about famous celebrities.

Can you remember one of yours?

I’ve had frustrated dreams that didn’t include celebrities. I was dreaming of a box of chocolates. Picked up a candy, brought it to my mouth, and woke up with my hand at my mouth! Man! Couldn’t I have waited to wake up until I dreamt I ATE the piece? I was so disappointed. 🙂

    Celebrity fantasy??

Gotta be Tom Selleck when he was Magnum PI (does that date me or what?). He was adorable and I never missed an episode. But now, when he’s older and more mature, I’m lovin’ him on Blue Bloods every Friday night. And yes, I still dream of him sometimes.

Another is my country music hero ~~ George Strait. I’ve had him singing to me for years, in some of the most unusual places. He ‘s been married forever, and so have I, but a girl’s gotta dream. Right. 😛

I always have very weird dreams. By no stretch of the imagination could they be called fantasies.

Many of my childhood dreams included “Kirk” and “Spock” (RIP Leonard Nimoy). I think I was in the 5th or 6th grade when the original ST first aired. My best friend and I spent many hours indulging ourselves in Star Trek role playing. Thanks for the picture and bringing back great memories for me.
