Yowza! It’s been a super crazy month. Lots of ups and downs. Lots of people being judgmental and hateful. So let’s turn all of that around and talk about things we’re thankful for. And I have a giveaway with a twist!!
I’ll start!
I’m thankful for waking up today. Doesn’t matter if it’s sunny or rainy, warm or cold. I’m lucky enough to be writing this and I don’t take that for granted. Ever.
I’m thankful for my awesome miniman, my family, work family and friends. Each and every one of them delights me. So thankful for them all.
My boyfriend. Just….damn. *bouncy*
I’m thankful I get to write dirty books. The dirtier the better. That I get to write what I want, how I want and people read them? So awesome!
I’m thankful for holidays, and special holiday food, and presents and PIE!!!
So now I want to hear what you’re thankful for but let’s make it people specific! Specifically a person you’re thankful for and why. And the goodies listed below won’t be for you, it’ll be for the person you’re nominating for neato book stuff! And kinky buttons.
**GIVEAWAY – US ONLY** – Look at all the awesomeness they could win!! So fill me in on someone you are incredibly thankful for and why and leave me a way to get in touch with you so if you win I can ship their stuff to them!!!
PS – This giveaway is open to US residents only. Good Luck!!!
Decadently Yours,
Jennifer Kacey

I am so grateful to my husband. I have always loved cats, and have had them. I have had men end relationships with me because I didn’t and wouldn’t get rid of my cats. Allergic my ass. So, at 40 years old, I met a man who loves them as much as I do. We now have a small rescue shelter for mostly elderly cats. I hold them tight, while he administers all the med they need. We have 12 now, as we have lost 3 this year due to old age. We have been married almost 20 years, and I could not ask for a better partner. And doesn’t mind that we don’t take vacations and travel. He feels as I do, that we love our home, our property, and feel that no one can give them the care that we do.

I am so grateful for my daughters. One is serving the Peace Corps in Moldova and the second would not like any of that. The third is going to present me with my first grandchild in about 6 months. She would. Soon I can be grateful for one more.

Hi, I am grateful for my family and friends and good wine and books! I appreciate my family even more since I lost my dad last year. It was a hard time. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful for my hubby of 40 years. Our roles have recently reversed — he works from home and I work outside the home. Earlier this year we had 3 of our grandchildren come to live with us. Because he is the at home “parent”, he is the one who brings/picks them to/from school, meets with teachers, takes to doctor, chauffeurs them to after school activities, helps them with them homework, all the things I did when we raised our 4 children. He also has become the cook and grocery shopper for the family. He has taken on all of these responsibilities without complaint, but with love and patience (most of the time.) HE IS MY HERO!!! 🙂

I am thankful for many things: my hubby of 42 years, my family and friends but this year I am grateful for Jean, who friended me on Facebook. She offered me the opportunity to write for her book blog which has been a fantastic experience. You can contact me at buttonsmom2003 at gmaildotcom

I am so very thankful for my parents who at this time are still very much alive. Why does that seem so significant, my dad is 83 turning 84 in Feb and my mom is 81 turning 82 on Dec 2. I am an only child and I think the way they raised me was just perfect. My mom even taught me how to cook at an early age. Thanks for the chance. lacombejc (at) suddenlink (dot) net
PS: I have had 4 children who gave my parents 8 grandchildren so their hearts are full of love now and always!! <3

I am so thankful floor my eldest daughter, Michelle. She fills my heart with joy always. From the time she was a wee baby, she had the happiest disposition with the loveliest smile. She laws was helping with her three other sisters and brother. She became the second Mom. Now that she is grown, she has become my best friend. When something is bothering either of us, we can always talk until a solution is reached. She is only a phone call away ever. The smile that stole everyone’s heart as a baby is still there bringing joy and happiness to whomever receives it.

I am so very thankful for my Michael, my husband of over 46 years.
Several years ago. at this exact time of the year (11/9 thru 11/30) he got swine flu, which turned into pneumonia, and I almost lost him. He was in ICU for 14 days, on a ventilator and wasn’t expected to make it. Let me tell you, when you’re told by the lung specialist that if you have any family out of town you better call and get them here………that’s scary. 10 of those 14 days he was in a medically induced coma and not able to communicate and that was probably the worst part of the entire ordeal.
But he made it. It was rough and he will never be the same, but he’s here with me. He now has COPD and is on oxygen, with 3 different inhalers a day. We have good days and bad, but, he is here to have those days. And when it gets really bad, I just remind him that he’s here and we should be thankful every single day.
God is good and prayers ARE answered. Don’t ever think otherwise. I thank God every day that he allowed me to keep the love of my life.

I am thankful for my mother who never showed favoritism over my sister and me. We were treated equally and for that I am thankful. She has been a great mother.

I am eternally thankful for my best friend, Rose! We have been besties for somewhere around 50 years. We aren’t sure because – well really! It was so long ago. 😀 Through the years we have gone our own ways but some how we always seem to connect again. We can go years with out seeing each other or even talking on the phone, but when we get together we pick up right where we left off without missing a beat. We get each other. Always. I am so thankful to have her in my life. pansypetal at hotmail dot com
