So, I came back from San Antonio with a bug. I knew it was likely flu because one of my good friends was laid low with it the very first day of conference. Still, I hoped it was just allergies. I wasn’t feeling too bad. Until yesterday. And then the 12-year-old complained of familiar symptoms: headache, muscle aches, persistent cough, sneezing, chills…Ā Today, she went to the doctor. I’m willing to ignore my health, but we don’t ignore the kids’. And sure enough, she has the flu.
She gets the Tamiflu. I’m too far into it for that to do me any good now. So, the question is, what do you recommend for someone who hates to be sick? What works for you?
I picked up some Ibuprofen, Theraflu and some celebrity magazines. I figure if I’m sick, I may as well wallow a bit. š

Resting in bed with lots of fluids and my ereader is my medicine of choice. Fortunately I haven’t had the flu in years. Not sure if it’s the flu shots I get or just plain luck. I hope you feel better soon.

I hate being sick… I have been getting a flu shot to help… If I do end up ill, I take some medicine and curl up in bed with soothing music… have tissues and drinks at hand. Get Well Soon!
