What an awesome tribute to your father!! Not that funerals are ever good, but if you gotta have one, military funerals are the best. The men in their dress uniforms, the flag, the patriotic feel~~ somehow just makes it all a little less painful. And your precious Mom, she will cherish that flag for what it meant to your father.
Loved the puzzle. Totally awesome picture. And the picture of that beautiful little girl in her graduation dress, priceless.
My thoughts, prayers and good wishes are with you and your family. If I could give you one piece of advice (having been exactly where you are now), it would be to take time for yourself. Take time to grieve in your own way while you deal with this loss. And don’t worry about us out here in “reader” land, we’ll all still be here whenever you’re feeling better and ready to bring us more of those great stories you write.
Hang in there girl~~

So sorry to hear of your father’s passing. It is such a difficult time, but know you have some wonderful memories to carry with you in your heart, and he’ll always be a part of your life.
