They kept missing each other’s phone calls. Sometimes it was because of her job, sometimes his. Finally he sent her a text and said to meet in the park. After running up to each other and having a really big hug, he said “I love you” and was bending to kiss her. Of course she had said “I love you” back and unbeknownst to her, he had en engagement ring in his pocket.
(But that’s another story, lol 😉)

Only a fool in love would think that a walk in the park during winter was a good idea. He was amorous, but she was just freezing cold.

The couple returns to the spot they first met at years ago… A quiet moment of remembrance before they return to the chaos of family and friends at their hometown’s annual holiday party.

“Follow me” he said and though doubtful, she did as he asked. After 20 minutes or walking in the snow, she realized they were in the park. The same park they met the past spring, went to watch 4th of July fireworks, and had a Thanksgiving football game with her family. She also realized the snow started was falling heavier, and the wind picked up-and she was freezing.
He stopped suddenly, took her hand then quickly spun her in a circle. She slid snow, falling against him. She reached up and grabbed him by the collar. “I can’t feel feet so either do something very romantic, or prepare to die.” He kissed her, then said “We have now been in this spot in all four season.” She kissed him this time. “That was good.” He smiled, a bit smug, “Yeah it was, and I booked us a cruise to the Bahamas for the 27th of December”.
“You are the best.”
