UPDATE: The winner is Christi Anderson!
*~*~*
Good morning! I have a cup of coffee, and the morning’s quiet—so far. So, here I am talking to you! I had to check my calendar to know what day of the week it is! With everyone home, every day, it’s hard to keep track here in the loony bin!
While mom and dad are coping, the littlest kids are having an absolute blast! The temperature rose to the low 70’s a couple of days ago, and they secretly put their swimsuits on underneath their clothes, went outside, stripped, and turned on the hose to have a big water fight. We knew when we heard the screeching. Outside was warm, but the water coming out of the hose was not. They had a blast then came running inside, dripping everywhere, and said, “Guess what we did?!” (Like we didn’t know? 🙂 )
The older ones are going stir crazy and spending way too much time making TikTok videos and FaceTiming friends. The 15-year-old girl keeps singing, “It’s the end of the world as we know it…” Don’t remember that one? Play it while you play here!
The creatures I feel sorriest for inside this house are our five cats. They’re solitary creatures by nature, and now, they never get a break! The little ones want to play with them and carry them around. The little Jack Russells also run and hide when they’re outside because they’re always in a wagon being dragged around the yard. Ah well. LOL
Do you know who’s happiest though? Me. All this enforced isolation works for me with my writing, and I get to spend extra time with the fam. So, there are silver linings, folks. Look for them!
Enjoy the puzzle! Leave a comment below telling me about your “silver lining”, and you’ll be entered to win a $5 Amazon gift card!

So far we have kept my 87 year old mom with severe Alzheimer’s from getting the virus. We are ordering our groceries delivered and haven’t left the house since the 1st case was announced in Idaho. It’s growing around us but there’s no one coming in or out except my granddaughter but she is sheltered in her apartment so she can come here.

Sounds like you’re doing everything right, Delaine!

As a family of crafters and readers, this gives us more time to craft during the day and read in the evenings after good daylight goes away.

3:24 too cute. Poor kitties. Silver lining? Not sure. My days are pretty much what they usually are. I live alone. I am retired. I don’t usually go anyplace. So, I guess my silver lining is that my life hasn’t really changed that much. Just a bit more stress in the air around me, but I have been practicing with how to deal with that so I am coping.

3:32 I have time to do some projects around the house and more reading time!

I had a month head start on the quarantine because I had a broken ankle and stayed at my bf’s home, sequestered on the second floor where the only bathroom is. The silver lining is that we didn’t make each other (too) crazy, and it’s turning out to be a trial run for living together permanently.

we have been reduced to cleaning the house… SAVE ME!

4:56 Love your puzzles, thank you! Silver lining, time to catch up on stuff on my ‘to do’ list. Take care! *Hugs*

Beth! Yes! The 15-year-old made stickers on her printer for her phone. Spent an hour crafting them. Very nice! I’ve been working on organizing my craft room, because I know in the coming weeks, kids are going to need something else to do. Barbies and “stuffies” are only going to entertain them for so long.
YVW, Christie! Hope you’re hunkering down!
Pansy, you and I were made for this.
Colleen! Reading, yes! I’ll try to hold down my end (writing, that is).

Diana! I’m glad you’re enjoying the puzzles. I love choosing the pics. Thank goodness I have a huge subscription of them on depositphotos.com. I always stockpile when they have sales.

2:43 not to shabby
My silver lining is hubby has work…. Even if it’s contract. In January he was made redundant and was turned down multiple times for other jobs in the last 8 weeks….. But now they need call centre leaders coz well everyone is calling people up…. Fingers crossed this leads to something permanent
