As a writer, refilling my muse is important, and I’ve found that walks in nature are amazing muse inspiration.
Surrounded by flowers, lush grass at the pond, the cool breeze through the trees in the woods, or the tang of salty air at the marsh, each journey is special.
With the birds migrating, it’s exciting as each day, I never know what I’m going to see.
During spring, birds are building nests, while other animals are tending to their young.
Nature is magical, and I’m continually in awe of the incredible wildlife that I see.
Each day as I step outside, I can’t wait to see what inspiration nature will offer my muse.

I love seeing your pics when you share them! I have been enjoying the wildlife that visits my yard… recently I have seen a yellow cardinal and a beautiful red one… usually I only see the brownish females.

Lovely pictures! You take amazing photos. Almost wish you were here to snap my resident robins and their nest. One day I will have my camera ready and snap them. I love watching them. The verification of new life. Thank you for sharing your inspiration!

Hi Diana!
Love your nature photo’s! I walk when I can, just for the exercise, but it was interesting for you to say it charged up your muse. I’ll have to think on that as I’m walking! The muse is a fussy creature always wanting attention!

Amazing photos. Animals and birds love them. We feed the feral cats in the neighborhood as well as a few possums. Someone ask me why? I said, a couple of reasons actually, one, they are God’s creatures and they are hungry, two, since we have been feeding them, no more mice in the house and no snakes and as I am completely phobic about them. Well, the trade-off is worth a couple of 44-pound bags of food a month. We are fairly rural and even our landlord has commented on not seeing very many snakes and as we have copperheads, husband killed one down by the road, I am extremely grateful for their taking care of them.

-Farmers tend to keep quite a few cats for the same reason, to keep mice/rodents at bay. That’s amazing that they’re keeping the snakes away as well. Take care, and I wish you the best.
