UPDATE: The winners are…Evie and Normandy Hood!

I’m not greedy. I don’t need a long trip. Just a long weekend. A quick 7-hour-drive away.
I’m talking about NOLA—New Orleans. That’s the place I’m dying to go back to even though I’ve been there a half-dozen times. The food, the ambience, the crazy residents. I love everything about it.
This was the view from our hotel, I think, last year, when we made a 2-day drive-down/drive-back trip to get our NOLA fix!
This shop’s always a MUST hit place for me to stock up on my voodoo kitsch!
And I love to take kids to “infect” them with my love of the place!
For a chance to win your choice of a download of one of my backlist books, tell me what place you’re dying to see once it’s safe to travel again!

I have a cousin down in NOLA who loooooves it! The seafood is always fresh ^-^ When all this is over, I want to go to the Smithsonian Museum but it might be a while

The beach! I’d love it if it were a beach in Maine, but to be honest, I’ll happily go to NJ, which is closest. I had thought when I scheduled my PTO way back in January that I would get to do that this year. Stupid coronavirus.
I haven’t been to NOLA yet, but when we do that trip down the road, it’ll have to be in the winter–it’s so hot and humid here in PA in the summer, I’d never make it there in the summer. lol

I would love to see the Grand Canyon, I’ve never been and think the grandkids would love it.

I would like to visit each Province and Territory in Canada. I would also like to go back to Pangnirtung, Nunavut. I visited in 1982 on a student exchange trip. It was fabulous place to visit.
Now if I ever get a passport I would like to visit places I’ve read about in my favourite authors stories.
NOLA
Montana
Hawaii
Texas
Australia
Atlanta & Savannah Georgia
Tennessee
Kentucky
Wyoming
Colorado
I wouldn’t mind visiting Vegas again.

NOLA! It has been on my bucket list for the last 30something years, ever since I started reading Anne Rice’s Vampire series. I wouldn’t mind going there.
I think my first trip would be to see my Aunt in Cleveland though, she is the last of my Father’s siblings alive, just turned 81.

I want to go back home to Ohio for a visit. I’ve been gone 7 years. The last time I was there was October 2019. This is the longest gap I’ve had between visits since I left.

Go home to Hong Kong to see my family. I always looks forward to go home every year to spend time with my family, eat home cooked meal and of course shopping.

There is an area of NE Italy called Friuli-Venezia Giulia. We lived there and it is so beautiful and only an hour to Venice. If I won the lottery I would live there.

For closer by, we’re eager to get back to southern California where we have family and friends. Farther afield, the kids would love to explore Korea and Japan, and there is so much of China that we would love to see together. And I have many author friends in Australia I’d love to meet in person!

NOLA is on my bucket list too. My son had the good fortune to visit Canada a couple summers ago and the pictures were so pretty that hit my bucket list. Finally, my Mom grew up spending her summers on Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, so that might be my first stop if we ever get back to life as we once knew it.
