We don’t need no stinkin’ holiday to celebrate a Saturday, do we?Â
The sky is overcast outside, so it looks like it won’t be a pool day for me. But I won’t let that get me down. I have a fun, sweet story to edit today, so I’ll lose myself inside it (but not so much I can’t catch the errors!).
I looked for a picture online that embodied happiness and joy and found this one. It reminded me of all the old photos I have stuck in a box that are fading and grubby. Some gems that could only bring a smile to my face because I remember the moment better than the photo can possibly display.
Let’s travel down memory road for a smile! For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, tell me about one photo you have that always makes you smile!Â

One picture that always makes me smile is a collage picture of my husband and I with my grandmother and my husband and I with his grandfather. They never got to meet, but they both shaped us into the people we have become.

Went to the Oregon Coast 16 years ago. My granddaughter was 4. The picture is of her and her mom holding hands while walking towards the ocean for the first time.

What a cute shot, Delilah! I think some faves are one of the kids, whether when they were younger and more objectively adorable or recent ones where they’re goofing off together and cracking each other up 🙂

3:56 – The picture that always makes me smile is one I took of Buttons several years ago.
He is sitting on a chair at the table (he really wasn’t supposed to be there) and he had his chin resting on the edge of the table staring at his plate of eggs, just waiting patiently.
He wasn’t allowed to eat his eggs until we finished and, of course, he wasn’t allowed to stay at the table; he had to wait until we put the plate on the floor.
This is one of my most cherished memory of our gone but not forgotten fur baby.
