*~*~*
We have a full weekend before Halloween hits, and the kids are on pins and needles waiting for the day. Their mom and I figure we can spend one night this weekend watching something fun to get ready—so forget about horror movies, y’all!
We’ve already watched Hocus Pocus and the second movie. We couldn’t wait for this weekend to do that. So, what’s left?

I’m not much into Halloween movies so to speak….but I do like watching It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, whether I watch myself or with my grandkids. I do enjoy Beetlejuice or the first Ghostbusters movie, if they’re thought of as Halloween movies.

Since the kiddos will be watching, I’m going to start with Nightmare Before Christmas. We just watched Beetlejuice and the original Ghostbusters this week.
After the young ones are asleep, if you like something funnier and ickier, Tales of Halloween is awesome. It’s a bunch of ‘short stories’ that tie together. We stumbled on it on Netflix a few years ago, and it’s an annual tradition now. 🙂

Apart from Hocus Pocus, which you have already watched, nothing comes to mind.

We’re not really into Halloween so no spooky movies for us. The last spooky movie we saw was the remake of Firestarter; it was pretty good.
