UPDATE: The winner is…Becky Byers!
*~*~*
I’m coping with the hand. I’ve been doing a ton of edits. Yesterday, I finished another chapter of Mica! So, while I’m slow, I’m also steadily getting the work done.
I also decided not to throw in the towel for the #The100DayProject—that annual art challenge I so love. I decided my weakened, hobbled right hand could be an asset and tried this…
They are “twinchies”—two-inch squares—and used a dip pen (plus a blower bulb on the second one) and acrylic ink to draw these squiggly, shaky flowers. So, Day 1 is done! Woot!
I decided I’d give another kind of puzzle a try. Just to switch things up. And it’s easy-ish to operate, but challenging like a Rubik’s cube to move the puzzle pieces to the right places. See the grayed square? If you tap on any regular square around it, those two pieces will change places. The numbers tell you the order the pieces should be in. So, good luck. I got three in place before I had to take a break. I’m leaving that screen open so I can come back to it and not start all over again!!
So, today’s contest? Play with the puzzle. Then in the comments, 1) tell me how many pieces you got into the right place before you threw up your hands, and 2) whether you want me to give you this kind of puzzle again sometime. I’ll choose a random commenter to win a $5 Amazon gift card! Have fun!

I just finished the puzzle. I never gave up just took me a few minutes to figure how to get them in order. I think it took me about 6 or 7 minutes to do. I enjoyed this puzzle and wouldn’t mind doing another one once in awhile.

It reminded me of a number puzzle I’ve had fun with. It didn’t take long to figure out how to make it work since it had a lot less tiles. I’d play again.

It didn’t took me but about 3 minutes to get them in the right place. I would probably do them again.

I got it! I used to love puzzles like this when I was a kid! I still like the jigsaw puzzles the best, but this is my second favorite. Thanks for a fun few minutes.

took a minute to figure out how to move the pieces – but finally got it completed – may want to try another sometime

It took me about 5 seconds… I would play this type of puzzle again.

It took a bit as I was never a fan of rubik’s cube. I do better with word puzzles.

I must be slow because it took me about five minutes, and I had to try to stop thinking about the moves like a chess game and just click.

I took tthe most time figuring out how to movve the pieces. I liked it. I would do another. I still like the jigsaw puzzles the best.

Dang it. I couldn’t get it. I love this type of puzzle.

Took less than a minute, used to do these all the time as a kid, fun as an occasional challenge but get repititious.

Took me less than a minute to get each piece right, it was fun. I wouldn’t mind doing these types of puzzles again, they are one of my favorites.

Took less than a minute. Yes, this would be fun to do again, though the jigsaw puzzles offer more of a challenge. I still have an Addams Family one like this (5×4) from when I was a kid. Thanks for the fun!
And feel better.

I actually finished this puzzle in about 30 seconds. I’m on the fence if I like the premise or not so I guess I’m not going to be able to give you an answer. Makes for a nice change though but I love your other puzzles so don’t add too many changes to a formula that works.
Hope you’re doing ok and adjusting to your limitations while you heal.

I’m no good at these puzzles. I had 1 2 4 and 8 and then got confused!

How do you move the pieces? I don’t like this puzzle! Lol

I enjoyed this puzzle. It’s been a while since I’ve worked one like this but I thought it was pretty easy. I didn’t time myself but I think I solved it faster than a lot of the jigsaw puzzles. LOL

I’m stubborn. It took me a little under 15 minutes to figure out how to do and then do it. I enjoy seeing more.

Okay! So, I’ll do a slider puzzle maybe once a month. Glad you enjoyed it. Some of you were really fast. I was slow as snot and very frustrated. LOL
