It is nice when you don’t have to worry about it. But with kids in the house… *sigh*

Ugh. I hate setting the clocks forward so, so much. It screws with my sleep for weeks afterward, and my sleep is pretty crap anyhow. The past 2 years are worse though–my hubs got me a new alarm clock last year, and it resets itself when the time changes, only it thinks the time change is two days earlier than it actually is. So my alarm went off an hour early yesterday, so I am losing that hour twice this week. lol

It’s Daylight Savings Time. Spring Forward!

Kids! Those poor animals. They don’t care what time the clock says. They want breakfast as usual. The powers that be really need to stop this ping bong timey whimey thing and leave the time alone. Personally I think we should stay on basic standard time. This “daylight savings time” is silly. Who really wants to watch fireworks at twilight? Why shouldn’t we be able to enjoy dawn at six am? Okay, sorry. Stepping away from my soap box. Other than half my clocks being too high for me to reach and I need someone to help me reset, the time change is just a basic nuisance. Doesn’t really bother me otherwise.

The puzzle means we ‘SPRING AHEAD’ and add an hour to our clocks. The dual changes always bothered me. I prefer this to the ‘fall back’ change. I don’t like the short time of daylight and the extra hour at work until my body reluctantly accepted the change. What was good with that is getting up early, doing chores and it is still early. With the time change, I was excited always excited to get out of work early even though the clock time was the same. My body knew! I’m retired now, but I still prefer seeing more daylight.

Finally completed a puzzle in less than four minutes. We spring ahead an hour for Daylight’s Savings Time. What a weird concept. There’s still only 24 hours in the day, but mentally it the day seems longer because it seems to be lighter longer. Yet there isn’t anymore daylight than when it wasn’t daylight savings time. If we didn’t measure time with clocks would we know the difference?

I do not like to change the clocks ahead. I just wished that they would just leave it alone. Uuugghh

It does not affect me except for watching shows on cable.

Ugh, SO not a fan of this jumping back and forth. I thought our state had voted to eliminate this, but I’m not sure when they’re supposed to begin implementing, so… I believe at 2 am, it’ll magically be 3 am…
Comment
Not really. I just have to make sure to set my clocks properly and call my mother to make sure she resets her clocks, too.

I liked the puzzle. Not a fan of this changing the times. It only adds to my challenge with being able to sleep. Since I am now retired it does not affect me as it use too. I really dreaded it working nightshift as a nurse.

3:02 Nice puzzle. It does affect me but not badly.

Time change, how I loathe it! I keep hearing rumors that they are supposed to stop doing it but so far no luck!
Comment
doesn’t effect me much – a little confusion occasionally thru the day to remember which clocks have changed & which haven’t then going around and changing them.
Comment
3:56. No, not really.

Retired so it doesn’t really bother me but I do wish they would just put it at one time a year and leave it alone.
