UPDATE: The winner is…Beckie!
*~*~*
Today, already, is hot as hell here in Arkansas (it’s 85 degrees Fahrenheit at 9 AM). The temperature will be over a hundred. We tend to stay indoors when it gets like this, then wander out to the pool when the sun dips below the horizon. The pool is so warm it offers little relief, except for the lovely feeling you get when you’re soaking wet and enter the AC-cooled house. My daughter doesn’t deal well with the heat. She loves winter—sweaters, leggings, and boots. Summer makes her ill. Just sitting outside this morning, talking to me over a cup of coffee, made her nauseous. AND IT’S ONLY THE FIRST DAY OF JULY. I’m down for it. Of course, most of my day is spent in my cool-ish window-less basement office. When I rouse to step outside, I enjoy the bright light and looking at the flowers blooming. My dd would love to mow the lawn, but she pretty much has to do that at dusk or dawn. Like a vampire. LOL. I think today, we’re going to take a break from the heat and head to the indoor flea market. Whee!
So, thinking about summer and lovely things I wish I could do, I searched for a photo of my dream vacation spot. It’s today’s puzzle challenge. Enjoy!

Can’t say it is exactly on my bucket list, but this does look like a nice place to visit.

Definitely not on my bucket list. Send me to Norway!

I would love to vacation in Ireland & Hawaii.

Yes, that looks beautiful!

Would be a quiet place to visit–depending on the daytime and nighttime temps. I would prefer something a little cooler.
The real question is it a place my mind can visit without physical restrictions or a place I need to go where I could physically move around.

That is a beautiful looking location! I would enjoy that!

6:22. Yes I would love somewhere like this image. While I do not like laying out in the sun, I love water and swimming and sitting in the shade especially if there is a breeze. But my favorite is a Cruise ship because chance of visiting many ports but only have to unpack once while doing so. Have not been on a ship since Covid.

That looks like a week in paradise. I would definitely stay there for a week.

I think this is a beautiful place. It however is not one for me. I think to enjoy a place like this you would have to like swimming, snorkeling and other water sports. That is not something I am interested in. I physically can’t do it anymore even if I was. My dream vacation would be a place right on a private beach. Some place totally too myself. Sunny weather with temps in mid 70’s during the day. Night time temps 50’s.

Yes, I would happily visit.

It looks like a really quiet place to relax but i think i would rather go someplace in the country with a lake and a cabin and very few people.

This would be on my bucket list!

I think I’d like it – as long as there was air conditioning for sleeping and the trip to get there wasn’t long and arduous.

Beautiful, but its not on my bucket list at all. Heat and I get along like your as with your daughter. After my service in the US Navy in the Persian Gulf. I have had nothing but issues with heat over 75. That’s why I live in northern Michigan

I could spend a weekend or two there for sure. I would love to be in a cabin in the mountains for a weekend or so also.
