The Saturday Puzzle-Contest
Since “secret identities” are on my mind today, I chose a very pretty picture of a possible heroine in such a story! I have to choose a theme for my own story. It’s raining outside. It’s been raining a couple of days now and there’s no end in sight. The temperatures are warm for this time of year, but I’m at last ready for the cold to arrive. This picture feels “fall-ish” or maybe even a little “Christmas-y”—it’s the colors, I guess. Enjoy it!
For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, tell me what sort of secret identity story you’d like me to write. Have fun with the challenge!

I have always enjoyed the stories where the Billionaire boss goes undercover as a lowly employee or the neighborhood handyman. They are fun. OR the Prince who is trying to live a “normal” life. Idk. I guess most secret identity stories are fun.

Prince does not want to be forced into a pre-arranged marriage, so goes into hiding as a regular person. Meanwhile the princess that he is to be arranged with also does not want to be in the relationship so she also goes into hiding. They meet not knowing who the other is and falls in love. When they finally admit who they are, each is surprised.

A female character that works a job like a waitress or a bus driver but she is also the secret benefactor of the small town where she lives. For example, the town needed a new playground and they submit a request to a local charitable organization for the funding but they have no idea she is the head of that organization. Her secret could be discovered by a local lawyer or newspaper reporter and maybe the town doesn’t learn her secret in the end.

Hmm… I do like stories where the characters first “meet” online or in writing (leaving each other notes?) without connecting that with a real-life person.
Or maybe at least one of them cosplays?
