UPDATE: The winner is…Beth!
*~*~*
November
- I compiled all three Triplehorn Brand books into a single volume and published the box set on November 20th! Thanks to everyone who picked up a copy!
- I completed writing my standalone small-town/sci-fi/romantic comedy, Little Green Dreams (follow the link to pre-order!)! Something I’ve been thinking about writing for years. And I finally have a cover!
- I began work on Malcolm (Book #10 of Montana Bounty Hunters: Dead Horse, MT).
- I completed 4 editing projects for other authors in November.
- I completed NaNoWriMo 2023!
Health-related:
- I have not been exercising enough. I’ve gained weight—not saying how much! (Thanksgiving is a blessing and curse!)
- Through medicines and some diet tweaking, I’ve managed to keep my blood pressure down to 135-155.
Happiness-related:Â
- I worked on making items to sell alongside my daughter at the local Christmas craft fair!
- Despite the heavy writing workload, I have managed to do some painting. Here are some examples…
December
For work-related, I plan:
- To make one more pass through Little Green Dreams to find any errors I may have missed, then release it on December 12th!
- To write, and hopefully publish, my next Stepbrothers Stepping Out short story—With His Fire Crew.
- To complete writing Malcolm, my next Montana Bounty Hunters book!
- To complete 4 editing projects in December!
For health related, I plan:
- To not make promises about counting points for my Weight Watchers diet, because it’s that time of year and I know I’d be setting myself up for failure. However, I will try to make healthier choices—emphasizing no late-night snacking!
- To continue to reduce salt, processed food, and incorporate foods good for blood pressure (spinach, broccoli, bananas).
- To pay attention to my daily steps, trips up and down the stairs, and to incorporate some chair exercises.
- To do more housework because my art room isn’t finished! Cleaning is exercise, too.
For happiness-related, I plan:Â
- To participate in a local arts and crafts event December 2nd!
- To make some last pieces of jewelry and cards for Christmas gifts!

I have gained weight lately. I blame the ice-cream. I know what I have to do.
I love the Christmas tree.

Thank you, Mary! Ice cream’s the culprit? LOL
For me, it always starts with Halloween, and I just plan to start WW on January 1st.

I plan on continuing my walking and going back into the gym because of the cold. Keep my eating on point. The holidays can be a detour with that lol. I love your paintings and can’t wait to read Malcolm🥰

I just finished reading The Triplehorn Brand. It was great…loved those brothers!! I’m looking forward to Malcolm..all the Bounty Hunters are very good stories. I’m hoping not to add any pounds through the holidays…I’m just going to try to be sensible and not overdo it…but I’m not going to pass up any goodies I might want. Moderation will be my watchword.

Make gnomes, and Christmas ornaments on wooden rounds.

I see my Doctor next week, so I’ll see how I’m doing on weight etc. I got three bags of stuff to a collection for the homeless – lots of sweaters, hats & scarves – then I found more things that should have gone too (sigh). Saturday is a Winter Market & Church Bazaar with the town Christmas tree lighting at 5 pm – Hope parking is manageable.

Planning to keep walking (hoping it doesn’t rain too much, as tromping through the rain isn’t my favorite, LOL)

I try to walk every day, even if I have to walk a circuit inside, down my two hallways. My husband makes fun of me, but when he refuses to go outside, I still try to move. Congrats on all the good things.

Weight, don’t get me started. LOL
Delilah, I love your paintings. The snowperson is perfect. To make myself happy, I have been knitting with my hands only those big chunky blankets. They go so fast and everyone who receives one is thrilled. It is the perfect gift that keeps on giving.

I love the little Christmas Tree drawing. It made me smile!

Yeah, I gained some weight too. But I blame it on being sick for almost a month now! LOL! I’m finally starting to feel somewhat better, but lots of different meds and it turning into pneumonia kept me down. I love the kitty painting! Super cute!! Merry Christmas!!

Be sure to keep track of the blood pressure. Exercise is good for the weight but also for the blood pressure and cholesterol.
I am working on my blood pressure and losing weight also. I have to conquer the motivation part first for the exercise to help with the weight and have started that process.
I look forward to each of the new stories you have coming out. I love the Bounty Hunter Series and the Stepbrothers…looking forward to your first SCI-FI writing

My original plans for just moving and reading this month got blown away last week when some a**hole turned left out of parking lot right in front of my van. I no longer have a van and am spending hours of most days dealing with insurance and all the other things that go along with no longer having a vehicle. Hopefully that will settle down soon and I can get back to decorating, baking, and reading.
