UPDATE: The winner is…Dana Zamora!
*~*~*
My daughter said the 10-year-old has a “dinner date” with the boy who’s her Valentine this year. Of course, both moms are taking the kids. I think it’s so funny. And the kid is so cute. They’re both GT nerds, and his glasses and thin frame with her towering height are going to be so CUTE in pictures. They decided on a meal since the kids aren’t allowed to exchange gifts at school. What’s up with that!? What happened to those little cards everyone exchanged that you spent a Sunday cutting up and addressing? I’d come home with a bag full of them. Oh, the days.
Anyway, we’re running up on Valentine’s Day, so I thought a puzzle to commemorate the holiday would be fun.
For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, solve the puzzle (it is really pretty!), then tell me what you’ll be doing on Valentine’s Day. If you don’t have someone to give you a Valentine’s Day gift, what can you do to treat yourself? You deserve a heart!
And just a reminder…this book is coming out the day before Valentine’s Day. What better way to celebrate love than read a sexy book?

Well since it’s also Ash Wednesday and I sing in my church choir, that evening I will be singing. And before that helping with children’s choir. Will hear all about what the kids did for Valentine’s Day from them I’m sure it will be an enjoyable time

I like your idea of treating myself to a new book and Malcom looks like a good one. Thank you.

Unfortunately for me, the 14th is just another day. I have no special plans. I am happy to get things crossed off of my to-do list. I do have special things to try to get to on the bottom. Maybe I’ll shoot for one of those.
Happy Valentine’s Day all!

Since I don’t have anyone to spend it with I guess it will just be like every other day. I will be working.

That is pretty! I’ll just treat myself to something chocolaty. I think my great-nephews school still does the exchange of valentine’s cards – I know last year their grandmother hunted for the packs for them to use.

No plans except dinner with family… maybe enjoy a book.

I spoil myself whenever I can, so it’s chocolates for me on 2/14 while reading a good book.

It is a lovely picture. We don’t make a fuss for Valentines.

I’ll be reliving memories of Valentine’s Day 1970. That’s the day my husband proposed and gave me my engagement ring. We got married 3/27/70 & are still happily married. I grew up in a very small town in deep east Texas so all the “church ladies” gossiped that I must be pregnant since we were in such a hurry. We met on 12/7/69, got engaged on 2/14/70 and were married on 3/27/70. In a hurry? Not really since our daughter didn’t come along until 8/2/73. Like the books all say “when you know, you know” so why waste time.

Forgot to wish everyone a HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY. Be safe, be happy & eat lots of chocolate.

That’s a tough one. I’d love to say I’m doing something crazy romantic and stuff but we’re in the middle of cleaning out our fridge and freezer and pantry so I’ll probably be cooking whatever I find and then we’ll probably watch something on TV. Not exciting but at least we’ll be together.

my husband and I will spend the day together and have rootbeer floats that day
