UPDATE: The winner is…Mary Almeida!
*~*~*
I have guests here all week on this blog, so I’m happy to have one day free to pop in to to say hello! I’m trudging along, editing, writing, trying to get my pool stomped into shape because it’s freaking hot here in Arkansas! I had more of my annual doctor appointments (why are there so many tests!?). I have my marching orders—lose weight, walk more. I’m ticking off movies I’ve had on my TBW list. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare was gory and fun, but not great. Under Paris was everything a shark movie should be—scary and ridiculous. Not much else to catch you up on! I hope you’re keeping well, reading some great books, and that you’re enjoying life!
As a way to solve my book-hoarding problem and make room in my bookshelves, I’m continuing my Clear My Bookshelf Giveaway! I have a ton of my books, collected over my 20 years of publishing. So, rather than consign them to the burn barrel I thought maybe a bunch of giveaways would be fun. As the first giveaways seemed to garner a lot of interest, I’m happy to offer more opportunities for readers to win a signed copy of one of my old books! Check to see who the last winner was! It may have been you!
So, for a chance to win a randomly chosen by me (I might say, do you want a western, an erotic novel, or a paranormal?) book, which I will of course sign and fill with a bookmark and a postcard, painted by me, tell me how June is treating you so far!

Good Morning! I hope you get your pool straightened out soon because the temperature is wicked. I am staying in the house most of the day watching Court TV. I love true crime. Hubby bought me a wave runner to use at the lake. Long story short, he had gotten us a pair several years ago and oldest son and wife wanted to use them and they wrecked them so hubby fixed and sold them. I loved my wave runner. So now I have one again and he has a party barge so we are spending time at the lake in the evening and have been having a blast.
I hate Dr.’s appointments, they are not fun. I hope you have a great week!

June has been a bit of a roller coaster ride for me. You have heard that adage, “Be careful what you wish for?” Yeah. I needed help with knee and hip pain and moving. Got myself into so physical therapy to address this. It’s working, mostly. But I am achy today. (Had my first session yesterday.) Then there is the mental heath issues. Those too are being addressed, and are a bit scary. See! Roller Coaster. I am not a fan of roller coasters. Could be why I spend so much time escaping into my nice safe books.

I have been in Pennsylvania all month, so I have had a fantastic June. I leave Friday to drive back to Texas just in time for the invasion of the mosquitoes and flies. (The tropical rainstorm brings the first and the watermelon fields bring the second. They still haven’t plowed up the field next to my house.

June has been much hotter than normal in Michigan. Haven’t been able to attempt much had to let an incision heal up it took over 1 1/2 months. My back is allowing anything fun. Maybe next month will be better. All I can do is pray.

June has been pretty good so far. We had some ungodly hot & humid days. Took the grandkids to a friend’s pool on a few of those days. Now I’m dealing with the sunburn itch & peel. I do t care though…it was fun with them. We made plans for a short trip next month to Florida. Today is my daughter’s birthday so I’ll take the grandkids to buy her a balloon & card & cupcakes after I get them from summer camp.

June has been good…. Started the month on vacation in Yellowstone National Park, Devil’s Tower, Mt Rushmore then flying home from Denver. Now we are working on getting contractors together for a bathroom remodel. I have also been taking care of all my medical appointments.

June is HOT here in my corner of east Texas. May & first of June was all rain & bad storms. Now its 96 deg heat & 110-115 heat indexes. Needless to say I’m staying inside reading a lot enjoying the A/C.
I’d prefer military or a cowboy. Thanks for the opportunity.

June was okay, but we’ve been trying to get moved to Mississippi (living in TN now), and it’s now July, and my hubby and son are there, and my daughter and I are here, still trying to get rid of junk, clean this house, and get it ready to sell. I am frustrated and exhausted, and so is my daughter.
