Before we get into the contest…Â
I just wanted to remind everyone, that we’re doing a “Getting to Know You” thing on the Collections website. We’re running contests and giveaways. You’ll meet authors who might be new to you! Be sure to follow this link to check it out. The posts will continue until the release of Secret Identities at the end of this month!
Now, onto today’s little ramble…
The 19-year-old turns twenty today! Our little college girl/pom squad member/school ambassador/future teacher. We’re so proud of her. So, her mom, I, and the 10-year-old are taking her to the city for a meal and a movie—Inside Out 2. We all love a good animated picture. 🙂
So, I’ll be away from my desk for most of the day. Today will be the one break I’ll give myself until I finish the book due out later this month! I hope everyone has a wonderful day, too. Be sure to catch up on the contests still open here and on the Collections website. Enjoy the puzzle!
For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, tell me whether you are a fan of animated movies. Do you have a favorite? Any recent favorites? The 10-year-old and I adore Moana and probably watch it once a month together just because. 🙂

I do enjoy animated movies. I am catching up with my grandsons. Right now one likes The Incredibles and the other anything to do with Sonic and Minecraft.

Love animated movies. My kids are all grown up so, I only watch then by myself. Mostly old Disney or Scooby-Doo. Daughter did put in a Scooby Doo I don’t really remember last time I visited.

I have always liked animated movies. I don’t think I have a favorite.

I don’t care for animated movies myself. Just not my cup of tea. That being said, I did have kids and I was a kid. I remember seeing Snow White way back when it was kind of new. I remember being enthralled. My son loved Bambi. He watched it two and three times a DAY for months. Then he saw Peter Pan, two and three times a day for months. My daughter does the Anime thing. I don’t even get that one. But generally, though animation as been a part of my life, I prefer live action movies.

Absolutely, especially if they are musical. My favorite is Tangled, but I also enjoy the Despicable Me movies.

I guess if old Disney movies count my favorite would have to be Jungle Book.

I love animated movies. My 4 year old grandson wants to watch the Minions every now & then. I like to watch Monsters Inc now & then. And I’ve enjoyed Ice Age a few times. Both my grandchildren are talking about this new Inside Out movie. You should take some time off to celebrate your granddaughter. Enjoy your day!!!

Saw Inside Out 2 with my great granddaughter last week & I loved it. Great message for her since she suffers from severe anxiety. She’s turning 13 on 7/12 so she, and I, could really relate to the message.

Wow. 3:16 One of my shorter times,
Animated movies are cute and fun but I wouldn’t spend my money on going to a theater for them. Of course, I don’t spend money on theaters except maybe once a year…if there is something I absolutely have to see in the theaters around my birthday, which was less than two weeks ago. Nothing at the theaters on that day that I wanted to see so I may give myself a late b’day present with Twisters.
Going to stream a few animated ones and watch with the granddaughter over the summer though. Family time with GG(great-grandma), grandma, mommy and little one.
