Hello there! I’m up bright and early. My dd left to take the girls to school. The house is quiet. The dogs are walked. My cat woke up long enough to yowl a couple of times to remind me to fill her bowl, but now she’s back, lying on the bunched-up blanket I have on my bed just for her. Tessa is around 15 years old and likes her sleepy times.
I’m ready for work. I find if I start early, I can last until noon-ish. So long as I move from one item on my To Do list to the next, I can have a productive day’s work completed by then. So, nose to the grindstone—after the puzzle, that is! 🙂
I’ve been contemplating some craft projects I’d like to tackle. It’s Fall, and my dd wants me to paint a small shelfie-painting for her Halloween decorations. Since I needed a topic for the next Word Search, I thought it would be fun to find out what you like to do.

I am all about, what I call, the tread arts – knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, needlepoint, quilting. That is my happy place! I even crocheted a pillow that sits on my favorite arm chair, that is surrounded with yarn and various knitting needles and crochet hooks, proclaiming “This is my Happy Place” Thank you for asking. I’ve tried a lot if different things crossstich, crochet, painting, picture framing, lately it’s not really craft but I enjoy doing puzzles and pictures on my iPad. Plus I enjoy just reading.

That was fun. I haven’t done a Word Search in a long while. Again, this has been in a while since I have done. I loved jewelry making and needlepointing. I was learning how to Knit but I am Knitting challenged.
The thing that I do mostly is Paperworking.

Mom does knit crochet and sewing mostly these days. We both do plastic canvas stuff and we used to do jewelry making a lot more than now(arthritis sucks!). I also work with wood, pvc pipe, and paracord. My daughter likes to work with plastic canvas and perlers. My granddaughter(who is 8) is still working out what she likes to do. So far she has done the loop weaving on the looms, drawing and several other things kids do, is currently working on painting ceramics, and has expressed an interest in making pottery(she’s very interested in getting a small pottery wheel and making a mess-HaHa).

I love Diamond painting, reading, craft painting, computer games and gel pen coloring. Hubby surprised me with a Cricut 3 and Heat Press. So I’m making alot of t-shirts right now. I did repair one of my daughter’s expensive crystal stone necklace. I enjoyed. I don’t know if I’ll start doing jewelry making.

I love cross stitch, there are these kits for calendars that have sequins and small clear beads that are simply gorgeous and make great gifts for Christmas. The previous two ideas have bonus reasons — my hands are too busy too snack at night which allows me to avoid nasty habits and adding more weight to my cuddlely size. I also enjoy doing ceramics there is something calming and mysterious to making pieces that start fragile and gray and the finished product is sturdy and beautiful, I am the furthest from an artist than anyone but ceramics makes me feel like I have some talent in that area! 🤣
