UPDATE: The winner is…Stephanie!

I’m thinking about vacation destinations this morning because my daughter and I were talking about it this morning while she was getting the kids ready for school. Last year, the family had to cancel a cruise they’d planned for two years due to my diagnosis. I still feel guilty about that, but they never said a thing about being disappointed about not going, and we made the best of December, which was when they’d planned to go and still had a lot of fun.
My future’s up in the air, but I do still have a few places in the world I’d like to see. I traveled so much during my twenties and thirties while in the military. I did see a lot of Europe, and I have been on a few cruises all around the Caribbean. I decided to share some of the places I’d still like to go and see whether any of those destinations appeal to you!
So, for a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, tell me whether any of the photos you uncover appeal to you or where you’d like to go!

I used to dream about travelling to some of the places mentioned in the books I read but after 9/11 I have no desire to travel. If I was to do any travelling now I would travel through Canada. There’s still a few provinces and territories. I haven’t visited yet.

I’m sure you’re family was were they wanted to be when you got that diagnosis, I love a great road trip, snacks necessary, and before the internet it was reading maps, but I took a trip with my kids to Memphis to tour Graceland, they weren’t happy, but pleasantly impressed with everything when we left, I went to Hawaii for my 50th birthday with my sister and we had a great time, I love traveling ❤️

I rather like that spaceship picture. I have always had a bit of interest in traveling to other worlds. Sounds exciting. Yep, I am an arm chair traveler too.

I’ve got Italy and Iceland on my bucket list to go to.

I’ve been to Ireland, Scotland, England thru several European counties including Italy, Aruba, Hawaii, California, the major canyons in Arizona & Utah. Top of my list is Northern Ireland where my Dad was born and a cruise to Alaska. We do have a 3 gen family trip planned to Disneyworld in March – just hope I’m up to all the walking but just want to be with the kiddies – it’s been over a year.

I would go to any of these places. We are traveling to the Arctic Circle in May and doing an African Safari later in the year.

Starship, especially with all the unrest and climate change making travel more uncertain on Earth.

Those are lovely! I’d still love to explore Australia and New Zealand, Asia, Europe… most of the world, honestly. But we’ll see where we get to go next… maybe down the street 🙂
