UPDATE: The winner is…Janelle!
*~*~*
Today’s another obscure holiday–Hot Sauce Day! Since I’m a lover of hot sauces, I thought celebrating them would be fun.
Did you know that chili peppers originated in the Americas? They were spread around the world by Spanish and Portuguese traders. They get their heat from something called capsaicinoids. They’re rated, too, on something called the Scoville Scale. Reading the rating of some of the hot sauces I looked at, I’m a bit of a weenie with my favorite sauces (Cholula, Tabasco, and Frank’s) only rating in the 1000s. Tabasco is the hottest in my fridge at 7,000. Da Bomb, which I listed in the puzzle, is a scorching 119,000 to 1.5 million!
So, for a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, tell me whether you’re a fan of hot sauces and which ones are in your fridge!

I have always kept Tobasco sauce in the cabinet. I don’t use it all the time but it is a staple in my spice cabinat
Comment
Nope! Not a fan. Have none in my fridge. But, thank you for the puzzle. They are a bit more challenging these days.

Kerry! Tabasco is likely in many, many pantries!
Pansy! LOL. I get it. I love the spice, but I get not wanting to have your mouth on fire. Glad you enjoyed the puzzle.

I have 3 bleeding ulcers where my pouch connects back to my intestines no hot sauce or too spicy for me

Not a hot sauce fan. But, at El Chicos they have a carrot relish, that is carrots, jalapenos, and onions. I put that on a flour tortilla with butter, they are so good. When I was pregnant and El Chicos was in the mall, I went 3-4 times a week and would have their grilled chicken salad and the carrot relish. It is no wonder that my child is a mexican expert

No I don’t like hot at all.

Nope. Do not like hot sauce of any kind.
Comment
never use it… not a fan

I don’t use it much myself but the family is a fan. We have a couple kinds of sriracha, Tabasco, Frank’s Red Hot, and at least one Chinese chili sauce. And I think a hot ketchup?
Comment
Not a super fan of hot stuff myself (other than mild salsa for chips and tacos) but the daughter loves hot sauce. Not sure on her brands though.
I do keep a small jar of Tabasco for use in recipes occasionally. They usually only call for a few drops per recipe.

I am not a fan but my family is. We have Frank’s Tabasco and Chalula

I am not a fan of hot sauce.

I have Franks and a sriracha mustard.

I am a fan of hot sauce. Red hot is the only one I use but believe it or not I only use it on Manchurian Ramen. Which is weird because I rince the ramen for salt first then add a couple dashes of hot sauce for flavor. I know, weird right?

Not a fan but I keep Frank’s in fridge for my DIL
Comment
Not a fan at all of hot sauces. Hubby stocks dozens of them in our pantry, especially Siracha
Comment
I cannot eat anything with hot sauce in it….burns my lips right to my stomach & it’s not a good feeling. I don’t even keep any in the house.
Comment
It wouldn’t let me do the word search. Though it’s more up my brother alley. Heather hurts my stomach etc. So it’s a no way for me. But I love to learn still.
Comment
LOL! So many of you don’t like spicy! I can’t imagine food without it.
