Ugh. It’s true. When it rains, it pours. We’ve had heavy rains for a couple of days now, with a cold front moving in behind it, set to hit tomorrow night. So, of course, our heating system decided it was time to stop working. AND it happened late yesterday afternoon—AFTER every heat & air repair shop was closed for the day. We did manage to contact a company that told us the soonest they could come was Monday. Saturday night’s 25-degree forecast means we’ll have to put every space heater and electric blanket to use.
Anyway, we’ll be okay. I’ll use my space heater to keep the bunnies warm while I cuddle with my cats, Pumkin and Tessa, under a pile of blankets.
The rain came down in sheets for a while today. So, I chose a “rainy” photo for the puzzle. Hope you enjoy it!

It’s windy, dry and warm in Baton Rouge. Yesterday it was damp and cold. Tomorrow who knows.

Temp today was slightly warmer today, 27 degrees and cloudy. We are allegedly expecting another snow storm tonight and tomorrow. Time will tell. The best forecast is, “Look out the window.”

It was bright, but cold this morning with snow gently falling. Unfortunately, the snow shifted to rain and now it is that grayish-white winter sky with a damp cold. I don’t even want to think about my elec bill this month. Neither the gas furnace nor the heater in my bathroom (to keep pipes from freezing) have gone off since December.

thankfully cloudy this morning but stil 22c, expecting 26c later this afternoon

I am so so sorry about the heating. No matter when it happens it is always such a hassle and truly unbelievable, and almost unbearable expense. Praying that it is a quick and painless expense. Both our units died within a few months of each other and let’s just say I could have bought a nice new vehicle before that ordeal was all said and done. Praying also for the survival of you and yours through the entire adventure. (Adventure is my word when we face challenges here, still trying to find positive or present something as positive in such a negative filled world.) We are experiencing the same weather as you are, in 80’s last week in 20’s for low next week. With lots and lots of rain in between. We won’t talk about the roof is leaking now and fighting with the insurance company too much of another kind of adventure for today! Hugs and prayers make more memories with the family camping out in family room snuggled together for a rom-com or action filled night!

It started snowing this afternoon in NJ but the temperature is going up and is supposed to turn to rain about 9pm and rain all thru Sunday as it goes up into the 50’s

It’s all over the place. Rain, freezing rain, snow, ice, wind, freezing temps, above average temps. You never know what you’ll get.

First I’m sorry about your heater, mine broke about a month ago and thankfully I had 4 months left on my warranty, the motor went out and it was in the 20’s, it’s been Cloudy and Misty all day, started off 36 degrees this morning in northeast Missouri and now 28 degrees, the puzzle was fitting for the day, stay safe and warm

We have auxillory heating with propane. So even if the electricity goes out we have heat. We also have a generator for back up also. Where we live there are only 3 people on out transformer so we are low on the totem pole for us to get fixed.
Stay warm!

The weather here in SI,NY is snowy. A very steady, soft, quite snow. Not much accumulation. Hope you get the heat working soon.

We had snow all afternoon and it’s now changed to freezing rain which will last throughout the night. Sunday they’re calling for high winds & some downpours through the day. Everything considered…it’s not a great weekend weather wise & I’m staying inside. It’s going to be chilly……20’s at night, maybe into 30’s for daytime.

5:33 I’m sorry to hear about your heat and can totally sympathize. When the weather turned very cold here (for Florida) in January hubby and I were both sick and then our heat went out and it took 4 days to get the part needed to fix it. We made it through with our electric mattress pad, blankets and then a friend loaned us a space heater. Hope yours get fixed soon. It’s going to be a little cooler here next week but I’ll be in Daytona Beach for a book conference and it’s really going to be cool there.

Over the past week we have had snow off and on with a total of about 8 inches. The temperature is supposed to drop below zero every night this week. Good thing we have the mobile heating units ie the dogs to snuggle with and lots of throws.
