Dear Readers and Friends,
Thought I’d share a little holiday cheer. Last night, our Elf on the Shelf, Zoe, arrived to greet the kids. She has a cast (so she knows some of what the 7-year-old is experiencing). We already have the Christmas tree up—a lovely, tacky, fake white Christmas tree with all our ornament-treasures we’ve gathered over the years. We start an advent calendar tomorrow night, counting down to Christmas. The kids get candies, pencils, small gifts stuffed in the calendar pockets so that every morning is special. On the 6th, the kids leave their shoes outside the front door to get a hint whether Santa thinks they’ve been naughty or nice. They’ll either get lumps of coal or a small gift let inside their shoes. All of this leads up to the night before Christmas when we have our “Ugly Sweater Party” and take pictures. We go all out. Easter’s almost as much fun. (So is Sharknado night!) We think of ways to keep the fun in big and small celebrations. And I don’t see all the bother ending when the kids stop believing in Santa or Krampus, because the adults love every minute too!
But let’s look briefly back at the month that’s ending. November was rough for a whole lot of reasons, but mostly…
NaNoWriMo. I really, really wanted to hit my 50k-word goal this year, but travel and illness nixed it.
Trip from Hell. The trip to Virginia to spend time with my son and his family over Thanksgiving went well until the day after Thanksgiving, when every single one of us began to fall sick. Worst stomach bug ever! We crawled back to Arkansas through torrential rains and 45-mile-an-hour gusts of wind.
I did manage to finish some stories and get them published. I hope you’ve sampled them. Thanks to everyone who’s already told me they want more Sara and Hunter! I’m listening…
As for what’s coming in December other than all the family time moments…
I plan three releases. I’ll be leading a FREE workshop to help authors plan their work in 2017, called “Write 50 Books a Year.” If you’re interested in joining in, here’s the link: Workshop Link
I’m big into New Year prep and resolutions. I’m still working on my 2017 mind maps. Anyways, sorry this was so long. I hope your December is wonderful! Drink plenty of mulled wine and rummy eggnog! Cheers!

Bad, Bad Girlfriend
Jolene Ledbetter is a big, beautiful woman with an even bigger heart. But she’s figured out that she’s become her studly, police officer boyfriend’s favorite doormat. Having put off the conversation she knows has to happen after his partner was shot, she’s ready now to tell him to “pee or get off the pot”—after a bout of really great sex.
Gabriel Devine has seen what his profession does to marriages. He’s not willing to risk that kind of heartbreak—not for himself or a wife who might have to face the possibility of getting that dreadful visit from the police chief. Besides, he likes what he has with Jolene. She’s pretty, funny, likes to cook the occasional meal, is ready at the drop of a hat for a little hot loving—but she’s sensible and knows he can’t give her anything more than that. So when Jolie tells him she won’t see him any more if he’s not willing to marry her, he’s shocked and angry.
With a girlfriend’s encouragement, Jolene arranges a special show at a strip club to prove to Gabe once and for all that she’s more woman than any man can handle, and if he’s not careful she’ll walk her pretty new Louboutins right out of his life.

Okay, so I don’t have covers to share just yet, but I do have releases planned for the month. Hopefully, you’ll get to see the next Step-SEAL story. So many of you have written to say you’re dying for Harley to be added to Sara and Hunter’s growing family. How can I resist the challenge? We’ll see what Santa brings… wink

Between a SEAL and a Hard Place made it to #3 on the Kindle World romance list! THANK YOU! And one lovely reader said this:
A really good story about communication, compromise, respect, and teamwork between a devoted married couple.
The last person world-class sniper, Wolf Kinkaid, expected to see in the cross hairs of his rifle during an operation to take down a drug cartel assassin was his pretty, bounty hunter wife. He takes the shot, disarming the bad guy, but the assassin wasn’t working alone, and now, Piper is a target for revenge.

I’m on vacation, so trying to get out the word is problematic! I hate using that little touch pad on my laptop. 🙂 But I wanted to let you know about the brand new story I have out that is part of Susan Stoker’s Kindle World!
It’s a novelette, and just under 12,000 words, but it’s a continuation, the “what happens after the Happy Ever After” story that was Through Her Eyes. You can read it as a standalone, but you might want to read Wolf’s and Piper’s other story first. Warning! It’s very, very sexy…
Well, here it is! I hope you love it! It’s just $1.99, so it won’t break your pocket book!

As you’re reading this, I’m still driving toward Virginia. We left yesterday. We, being my daughter and a carload of kids ranging from 12 to 3. By now (I’m writing this in advance, so I’m imaging it), we’re all deaf from constantly shouting, “Be Quiet!” Funny how that works, shouting for quiet. But we’re better prepared than that, so hopefully, that won’t be the case. We brought tons of DVDs for the kids to watch. Anyways…I hope you have a fantastic holiday week coming up. I have great guests who will keep you entertained. Are you doing anything special for the Thanksgiving holiday? And not to leave you non-USAers out, What are your plans for this weekend?!
Dear Readers and Friends,
I’ve assembled twelve of my very best short stories in a single compilation. They range from 5,000 words to 8,000 words each. All are ultra sexy, hence the title! When I return from vacation, one of my first orders of business will be getting the book ready for print! Yes! I know that some of you still prefer to hold paper in your hands, so I’m going to the extra effort to have it printed!
I wish you all a very happy holiday! If you’re looking for something fun to read when you’re finished basting that turkey…
Over 200 pages of sexy goodness!
This is a $7.89 savings if your were to buy each story individually!

Hard SEAL to Love
Uncharted SEALs, Book 9
Coming February 7, 2017!
Former SEAL, “Big Mac” McLane, is sure he earned all kinds of bad karma somewhere when his first mission with Charter Group is guarding the “Love Boat” and its activity director. Okay, so the cruise line is sponsoring a special cruise for wounded soldiers and their families—a great cause—but Big Mac doesn’t do well around families and children, and Kylie Hammond is cute, but he feels like he has two left feet whenever she’s around. But he’s going to do his job, keep it strictly business, fade into the background whenever she’s around, but it seems Kylie has other ideas…
Kylie knows the big SEAL isn’t exactly gung-ho for his new assignment, but she can’t be more pleased. The big man’s the yummiest thing she’s ever seen, and coaxing blushes and glares from him becomes her favorite sport. But then things begin to go wrong aboard ship, people disappear, and then someone’s killed. The thing her charity most feared—a terrorist attack at sea—appears to be underway. Now, she has to trust Big Mac and his team to keep her wounded soldiers safe.

Depending on how long you’ve been reading me, you might not be aware of my naughty, Memphis-based cop-and-firefighter BDSM-ménage series, Delta Heat and Firehouse 69. There are eight books between both series, so far. And I do plan more because I can’t stop writing them. All my sexiest fantasies are rolled up in those stories. Click on the three covers below to read excerpts and learn more! Feel the heat!
Comment for a chance to win your choice of
one of my Firehouse 69 books!
Have you ever been to Memphis?
And do you love men with badges?
Burnin’ Up Memphis
She’s the one fire he may not be able to control.
When a roof collapse kills his best friend and his girlfriend clears out his apartment and leaves, firefighter John Cooper knows he shouldn’t sit alone in his empty apartment. But when he accepts an invitation to Club LaForge, his feet get colder with every step he takes inside.
The sights, sounds and smells of the BDSM club make him sweat, and not because he’s turned off. Yet he can’t bring himself to admit—to himself, or to his luscious guide, Moira—that this lifestyle might just be what he needs.
An experienced BDSM trainer, Moira senses that Coop is not only a Dom in the making, but exactly what she’s been looking for. A man to be her lover and her Dom. The only problem is, Coop isn’t looking for anything complicated.
Moira’s willing to start slow and easy, but even once there’s enough trust to bring Coop into her world—and to her Dom—she’s still worried he’ll look for the nearest exit.
Warning: Do you smell smoke? Don’t worry, it’s just a hot and sexy firefighter getting down and dirty. Contains BDSM scenes, ropes, floggers, some spanking, some sharing, and some five-alarm sex.

Today’s the day! For us Americans, anyway. I, for one, will miss SNL’s weekly take on campaign shenanigans, but I won’t miss the constant nastiness. I’m like Rodney King: Can we all get along? Maybe we can after we settle into our new world tomorrow, whichever way it leans. This morning, I’ll be showering then heading to out to vote with my dd. We could have done early voting, which I would have preferred, but my dd prefers making a day of it. She loves the whole process. Guess I raised her right. She cares. Always has. We’ve watched the news every day together, dissected all the scandals, although we’ve known from the start who we’re putting our faith in.
I’m more than just a little tired today. I think I mentioned my grandma came home from rehab after breaking her back. My dd is her morning caregiver—giving her a bath, dressing her, administering her pills, straightening her room. My mother, my aunt, and I share all the other times. The past two nights I’ve slept on the couch so I can listen for her to ring her bell when she needs to make those all night potty breaks. So, I’m tired and grouchy. This is all part of our new normal in the Devlin house.
And I’m trying to do NaNoWriMo, but falling horribly behind already. I’m hoping that after the excitement today (we’ll be watching the returns—it’s a great excuse for a party, don’t you think?), I can get back to some heavy page counts so I can catch up.
But in the meantime, I have another shorty ready for you to devour. So many of you wrote that you wanted more of Sara and Hunter and his SEAL Team buds, that I’ve written a sequel. I hope you love it. I hope you want more, because I’m ready to take them some very fun places…
Stepbrothers Stepping Out: With His SEAL TEAM, Part 2
Sharing my life with three virile Navy SEALs would be exhausting for most girls. But I’m not most girls. They’re high-drive, high T guys, competitive as hell, and I’m the one who reaps the rewards when they’re ready to blow off a little steam. I’m Sara. I belong to Hunter. Our relationship is a little complicated…

Guess what I’m working on? Need another hint?
Satisfying three virile Navy SEALs would be exhausting for most girls. But I’m not most girls. I love it when my ass is sore from the sexy bruises those big, strong men inflict while they’re pounding away at my pussy. I like the way my pussy constantly feels—swollen, hot, sticky. All they have to do is walk into a room and my nipples spike, my clit hardens, and my vagina goes molten, because I know they can’t resist me. Not for a second. They’re high-drive, high T guys, competitive as hell, and I’m the one who reaps the rewards when they’re ready to blow off a little steam.
I’m Sara. I belong to Hunter. Our relationship is a little complicated. He’s my stepbrother and he loves me, although he hates telling me that. When he comes home from a mission, he needs certain things only I can give him.
Often, when he returns from a particularly harrowing mission, he’s in a dark place, but I’ve learned how to bring him back—by pushing his buttons. By fucking his band of brothers. He gets jealous as hell, but he likes to watch. And I love how crazy it makes him. Because when I’m done with them, it’s our time. I may stink of their sweat and come, but it only incites the sexiest violence inside Hunter. When he’s “dark”, he needs to blow hot and hard. Needs to be cruel before he can be kind. And he knows I like it when he lets loose. He knows I can take it.
I’m the only girl for him, but I’m not sure he knows that. Not yet. But he will…
Yeah, it’s the story you’ve been begging me to continue. What will Sara be up to next? I’m not telling, but next week you can find out for yourself.
In the meantime, if you haven’t ready the first Amazon, best-selling shortie, maybe you ought to pick up a copy now! Just click on the cover.
