The winner is…Jeannine Hess! For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020
UPDATE: The winner is…flchen1! A Pandemic, multiple hurricanes—and now “zombie” storms? Yeah, add my personal woes of a broken finger that has me typing one-handed (with all the accompanying whining & typos) and a lower back that’s still keeping me walking like an old woman, and I’m ready to volunteer for the first mission to Mars! Short of that, I’ll settle for a bucket of Tramodol and some mindless, upbeat TV (I’m starting Wizards of Waverly Place). Enjoy the puzzle, but be sure to check out the HUGE list of still-open contests you can enter below it! ContestSolve the puzzle then tell me what you “see”…for a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card! Some of these CONTESTS end after today!

UPDATE: The winner is…ButtonsMom! This will be short. I have to get my left hand back into an Ace bandage. Dummy me, last night I ran into a large rock in the dark and fell on my face. Or sort of fell backward over the boulder and twisted and landed on my face. It felt like a slow-motion fall—you know, the kind in the movies with the long, loud, “Ooooh Nooooo!” I broke my favorite glasses (because I landed on them), grazed the side of my face, skinned my knees, but the worst injury is to my left hand. I think I may have broken something. I’ll think about going to the doctor if it’s not improving Monday. I hate going to doctors. Anyways, just another crappy thing to happen in a craptastic year, right? And did I mention that the house’s AC unit’s pipe that takes the condensation out of the house backed up and we had a flood in the basement last night? Yeah, that kind of day. I may go back to bed. So, I’ll leave you with a puzzle. Enjoy it! Puzzle-ContestSolve the puzzle and tell me a story for a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card. Doesn’t have to be long. Have fun! UPDATE: The winner is…Eileen Airey! It’s the first day of September! I checked the weather forecast. This week, if weather permits, will likely be the last week I can comfortably swim in my pool. Some years, I’ve been able to stick it out until mid-October, but with temperatures going down steadily (we’ll have a high of 68 degrees around the 10th!), I have to concede the battle. I love the first of the month. My bank account is flush ( 🙂 ), and I have a lovely plan mapped out that doesn’t have any chicken-marked changes on it, yet. If you read yesterday’s blog, you know I have plenty to do, but I won’t let any negativity take me down today. It’s a bright, shiny new month! To start your month right, how about a puzzle and a little game? Puzzle-ContestFor a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, tell me a story… Doesn’t have to be long or be any good. Just have fun! UPDATE: The winner is…Courtney Kinder! My new book, BOOK #1 for the new spin-off series for the Montana Bounty Hunters, is here! The first book is important. It introduces you to the town and introduces the first hunters who will inhabit the Dead Horse office. From here, who knows where the series will go! If you have a chance to read it, please consider leaving a review on your favorite website. Reviews really do help an author! Get your copy here! Puzzle-ContestI had fun naming businesses in my town of Dead Horse, Montana. The townsfolk went a little nuts with the “dead theme”. There’s the Dead Easy Saloon, the Dead Horse Walk-in (get it?) Diner, etc. For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, either try to work on the “dead” theme to help me with some more groan-worthy “deadly” names, or if your well of wit is dry, tell me if you’ll be visiting Dead Horse, MT anytime soon! | ||||||||||
