We have another new SEALS in Paradise story! This year’s theme is centered around holidays. The latest release is by my sister, Elle James, just in time for Independence Day! All buy links are below!
Hot SEAL, Independence Day
Navy SEAL who wants nothing to do with commitment, is forced to protect his neighbor and her unborn baby when her past comes calling.
Jack “Mars” Marsten lives in an apartment he never made a home. He made the mistake of marrying right out of boot camp to his high school sweetheart. When his wife left him during BUDS training, he vowed never to marry again. No entanglements. Period.
Diedre Anne Tyler is running from her ex-boyfriend who beat her when he found out she was pregnant. She changed her name to Anne Smith and is hiding in an apartment next door to a cranky Navy SEAL who barely says hello. Which is just as well. The fewer people who know her and where she is, the less chance of her ex finding her.
Until he does…
When trouble comes calling, Anne hides in her neighbor’s apartment. Jack wants nothing to do with the woman but can’t send her back to deal with her problem on her own. Stuck with the woman, he’s now responsible for keeping her alive until her baby is born. How hard could that be? Harder than he originally thought when he finds himself falling for the pretty mother-to-be. No-commitment Jack sinks deeper into his own kind of trouble where Anne is concerned.
I should know. I wrote it. And yes, this is my unabashed reminder that you NEED to read this story. It’s a celebration of our military heroes—both on the battlefield and here at home. So, if you’re looking for something to read this weekend, or to re-read, here’s my suggestion. Just click on the picture below and go get your copy. You’ll laugh, get hot, and cry. And forever after, if you think of just two words, you’ll remember the journey and the final scene… Hey, Zig…

Hot SEAL, A Forever Dad
Benjamin “Pops” Popovich has just finished his last mission and said goodbye to his SEAL team. At thirty, he figured he had a few more good years left in him, but when family responsibilities call, he leaves the familiar to move back to Hope City. After years of missions and living in close quarters with his team, he is looking forward to a little peace and quiet. Now, if the two irrepressible kids from next door could just understand.
Violet Mayfield is doing the best she can… an uninteresting job with a lech for a boss and a townhouse in constant need of repairs. A widow, her joy comes from her two children. As far as she is concerned, their little trio family is all she needs.
Charlie and Lily Mayfield knew their mom was lonely. And they’d met the new neighbor. He was funny, grilled great hamburgers, and had a dog. And they noticed that his eyes always brightened when their mom was around. As far as they were concerned, he’d make a great forever dad. Now… all they need is to get the adults on board.
This is still one of my all-time favorite music videos. Who knew Christopher Walken could dance?! It’s weird (which I love) and makes you want to move! So, this being Saturday, I know I need to bust some moves and get my space clean. Ugh, isn’t housework the worst? The weather is warming up the pool. Slowly. We’re going to try to swim late this afternoon. The pool is still a bit cloudy, but we’re tired of waiting for “perfect.” It’s so much better than the sludgy black-green it was a month ago. Sounds nasty, right? It was!
So, here’s the contest. Share the title of a music video you love. That’s it. Up for grabs is a $5 Amazon gift card.
And if you’re needing suggestions for what to read this weekend, here’s one…
Ah, good times. The kids bought that pool thermometer for me because they thought it looked like me.
We’ve had an in-grown pool for at least ten years (I think). I can usually count on getting into the pool sometime in April—the earliest date was April 12th one year. Not that the water was comfortable, but it wasn’t so cold I’d break out in welts (I suffer from cold urticaria if the water’s cooler than 76 degrees). It’s April 22nd and the outside temp the night before last was 35 degrees. The pool hovers around 60 degrees, and the weather might warm up next week, but we need several weeks of the high eighties to heat the water.
So, while I’m still wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts, I’m dreaming about better days.
In the meantime, I have a book coming out. If you love a print copy rather than the ebook, the print version is available now! Just click on the cover! If you want to pre-order the ebook, head to my book page to pre-order the version you need: In His Memory page. It releases next Tuesday!
The story is emotional, very hot, and you’ll want to order the other books in the series! It’s a military romance, features a SEAL hero, and a friends-to-lovers romance! Do you have your copy reserved?
